A virtual private server: an isolated server environment with its own vCPU, RAM and NVMe storage, its own IPv4 address and root access. You manage the software on it.
VPS or web hosting?
Choose web hosting if you just want a website online and don't want to manage a server. Choose a VPS if you need root access to install and run your own software.

Which operating systems can I run?
You choose a Linux distribution when you order, from the list EclipsiumX currently offers for VPS (for example Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).
Do I get root access?
Yes. You sign in as root over SSH or in the browser console of the VPS panel.
How is a VPS billed?
Monthly, from €3.99. You create your EclipsiumX account and pay on the checkout page.
Is there a free trial?
Not as an online sign-up at the moment. If you'd like to test a VPS before committing, ask us.

Ask us and we will confirm where your server runs before you order.
