Data Preservation & Continuity Protocol
This Protocol defines how infrastructure snapshots, Identity Layer state preservation, and Operational World backups are generated, retained, and restored across the EclipsiumX ecosystem.
1. Infrastructure Snapshot Frequency
Automated InfrastructureVerse snapshots are executed daily across active Operational World environments. High-throughput database nodes and ITVerse automation states are backed up incrementally on continuous hourly cycles to maintain low Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
2. Preservation & Retention Schedules
Infrastructure snapshots and state backups are retained according to the active Access Key tier:
- Essentials Key: 7-day snapshot retention window
- Pro Key: 30-day rolling snapshot retention with weekly archival points
- Infinity Key: 90-day multi-region snapshot retention with custom disaster recovery parameters
3. Disaster Recovery & Operational Continuity
EclipsiumX SRL maintains geographically isolated backup vaults to safeguard against catastrophic regional events:
- Snapshot data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 keys managed by the Identity Layer
- Restoration requests for provisioned environments are processed through the Transmissions portal
- Participants operating custom enterprise infrastructure under Infinity Access Keys can configure automated point-in-time recovery (PITR) targets
4. Participant Data Responsibilities
While EclipsiumX enforces ecosystem-level infrastructure continuity, Participants remain responsible for managing application-level data exports, maintaining local backup copies of proprietary assets, and verifying backup integrity prior to major configuration adjustments.
